PickemLedger ("we", "us", the "Service") is a software platform that helps a pool commissioner host a free-to-play NFL and college football pick 'em pool for friends and family. The Service is a scoreboard and ledger only. We do not collect entry fees from players, we do not hold player funds, and we do not distribute prizes.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of a jurisdiction where free-to-play sports prediction pools are lawful to use the Service. By using PickemLedger you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
A commissioner may activate a pool for one season by paying a one-time hosting fee (currently $20 USD per pool, per season). The fee is charged through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Payment authorizes hosting for one pool through the end of that season.
No refunds. Hosting fees are non-refundable once the pool has been activated, except where required by law. If the Service is materially unavailable for the substantial majority of an active season due to our fault, contact us and we will consider a credit or refund at our reasonable discretion.
PickemLedger does not accept, hold, or distribute player entry fees, buy-ins, wagers, or prizes. Any money that changes hands between a commissioner and their players is arranged entirely off-platform and is the sole responsibility of those individuals. You agree not to use the Service in any way that would constitute unlawful gambling in your jurisdiction.
You will not: (a) use the Service to run any unlawful contest; (b) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; (c) impersonate another person; (d) scrape or resell data from the Service; or (e) use the Service to harass other users.
Schedules, scores, and spread information are provided by third parties (including ESPN) and are shown "as is". We do not guarantee accuracy or timeliness. Commissioner decisions on scoring are final.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN A COMMISSIONER AND THEIR PLAYERS OVER OFF-PLATFORM PAYMENTS.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
