Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account info: the email address and display name you provide when you sign up.
• Pool activity: pools you create or join, weekly picks, and results.
• Payment info (commissioners only): when a commissioner pays the hosting fee, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We store a reference to the checkout session and whether the pool is activated. We do not store card numbers.
• Technical logs: standard server logs (timestamps, IP address, user agent) used to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• Run the pool, calculate weekly and season standings, and show them to pool members.
• Process the commissioner hosting fee and send you receipts for it.
• Send transactional emails you would expect (account, pool activation, receipts). We do not sell email lists and we do not send marketing blasts.
• Keep the service secure and diagnose problems.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the vendors we use to run the app:

• Stripe — payment processing for the commissioner hosting fee.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Lovable — application hosting and transactional email delivery.
• ESPN — public schedule and score data (we fetch from them; we do not send them your data).

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage only to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention and deletion

We retain your account and pool data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated picks at any time by contacting us — see the contact page. Payment records may be retained by Stripe as required by applicable financial regulations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

PickemLedger is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
