About PickemLedger
PickemLedger is a free website for hosting football pick 'em pools — NFL, college football, or both on the same weekly slate.
Why we built it
Most pools start in a spreadsheet. A commissioner collects picks by text and email, types them in, checks scores by hand every Sunday night and answers the same questions all week. Once a pool grows past a couple dozen players, that becomes a part-time job. The paid pool sites solve some of it, but charge fees per player or per pool and are rarely built for a mixed NFL and college slate.
PickemLedger was built for the commissioner of a real pool with well over a hundred players, to take the spreadsheet work away: picks lock automatically at kickoff, scores come in on their own, weekly winners and season standings update as games finish, and players who never create an account can still play.
What it does
- Weekly slates mixing NFL and college games, chosen by the commissioner.
- Automatic pick locking at first kickoff and live score updates.
- Weekly winners, rollovers, tiebreakers and a full-season leaderboard.
- Guest players, invitations, reminder and recap emails.
- Excel import for commissioners moving off a spreadsheet, and printable weekly sheets.
- English and Spanish throughout.
Free, and how we pay for it
PickemLedger charges no fees to commissioners or players. The site is supported by advertising on public pages such as this one and our guides. We don't handle pool money: any entry fees or prizes are arranged directly between the commissioner and players, where local law allows.
